Dial Dunkin’s Hacienda Mariposa is Dial's personal estate and Classic Sports International Advisory Board Member Stuart Williams says it's the best he's seen in Mexico.
Dial is a retired Texas banker who is famous for providing suberb amenities, food and services on his hunting and fishing trips. Dial also has an excellent quail rig and dogs.
Dove hunting in Mexico starts the latter part of August when whitewing Dove season opens.
The hunting day begins with hot coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice delivered to your well-appointed room. A hearty breakfast is served at the main lodge where hunters are apraised of the days hunting activities.
In the field, your guide escorts you to your shooting position, usually less than 30 minutes from Mariposa, which is already equipped with a comfortable shooting seat and a cooler full of ice cold drinks. Large numbers of doves to pour out of their roost and fan out across the countryside, perhaps thousands into the field you're gunning.
You can fly into Tampico with only about an hour and a half van ride.

Hunters will be staying in the heart of the largest colony of white wing dove in the world with an average drive time to the fields of 30 - 40 minutes. An experienced staff of scouts and guides find new flights of birds on a daily basis. The priorities are safety, comfort and organization. Hunters are transported to the fields in comfortable modern air-conditioned vans. Bird boys will already be positioned with shooting stools and a cooler of iced drinks.
"Let the games begin!" Clients have come to expect a real barrel-burning hunt! Birds are cleaned and packed along with a filled out U.S. declaration form to assist in a quick return to the border.

Hacienda Don Quixote is located only 2-1/2 hours South of McAllen, Texas.

Upon arrival guests are greeted by Mariachi music, black-tie waiters offering giant margaritas and Don’s famous botana platters. Live entertainment, delicious food, and open bar offering name brands liquors.
Each room is equipped with satellite TV, and phones. On the beautifully landscaped grounds are 4 different lounges and restaurants, a swimming pool with a swim-up bar and jacuzzi, The recreation room provides a wide-screen TV, pool table and poker room.
