In Don's Mexico, your accommodations are based on 2 shooters to each room. Dress jacketed waiters greet your return from hunting with king-sized margaritas and giant charcoal broiled T-bone steaks will challenge you to finish one. high volume dove shootingYou will be staying in the heart of the summer grounds, for the largest colony of White Wing dove in the world. Unlike many lodges - the average drive time to the fields averages 30-40 minutes.
An aggressive staff of scouts and guides, with over 50 years combined experience, find new flights of birds on a daily basis.
The lodge's priorities are safety, comfort and organization. You will be driven to pre-scouted fields in air-conditioned vans and Ford crew cab trucks. Upon arrival to your field, your bird boys will already be spread out and positioned with chairs/shooting stools and a cooler full of iced drinks.
As the birds start to fly - "let the games begin!" At the end of your barrel-burning hunt, your driver will hand you a cold, refreshing towel to wipe down for the return home. Your birds will be cleaned and packaged along with a pre-printed, filled out U.S. declaration form to assist in a quick return to the border.

Don Turner has been entertaining clients for over 20 years in Mexico. His  Hacienda Don Quixote is located only 2-1/2 hours South of McAllen, Texas.
After a short, one hour flight from Dallas or Houston, your group will overnight in McAllen, for an 8:30 am departure, the next morning. You will quickly clear customs with a comfortable ride to the hacienda. All required paperwork will be taken care of in advance.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by black-tie waiters, margaritas, Don's famous botana platters and live Mariachi music.
Mexico diningLive entertainment creates a great, relaxing environment. The menu of delicious meals include entrees of steaks, wild-game and tasty local dishes. The open bar offers name brands with everything from Chivas to Crown Royal.
Each room is equipped with satellite TV, and direct dial phones. You will be awaken each morning by a gentle knock on your door accompanied by a hot cup of coffee.
On the beautifully landscaped grounds, you will have the option of drinking or dining in one of 4 different lounges and restaurants.
The hacienda's entertainment room provides a 60" Satellite TV, pool table and poker room.
