David Thornton "We expect
this trip to be
one of the best this year!" |
San
Jose is a spacious, clean and
comfortable estancia located near the city
of Coronel Suarez in one of Argentina's prime waterfowl areas, Bahia
Blanca. Outfitters Emilio Paris, Alejandro St. Antonin and Daniel Boudon offer the best in wingshooting variety at a prime time for both ducks and geese. Our recent exploratory trip focused on geese, perdiz and pigeon hunting since the marsh areas nearby lacked enough water for satisfactory duck shooting. Emilio says that the marshes are full this year due to heavy rains and the duck hunting should be excellent in the San Jose area.
|
We averaged about 15-20 geese per shooter early morning, both Magellans and Ashy Heads. The perdiz shooting was outstanding with 12-15 birds per shooter in the afternoon. Pigeon shooting was less productive but very satisfactory with an average of 5 to 12 boxes per shooter. Limit on ducks is 20 and if the shooting approaches our levels at Emilio's La Mariana, further north, group members can expect satisfactory numbers on ducks as well. |
The
food and hospitality at Estancia San Jose are excellent and feature fine Argentine wines
and
all the amenities you would expect from a
first-rate
outfitter.Be sure to ask us about the references we received from some of our best clients who have hunted ducks, geese and perdiz at Estancia San Jose. |
