Paco Riestra is a very credible outfitter who has been pleasing our clients for about six years now. He runs a good operation, is very adept at finding good pigeon/duck areas and has been telling us about this new lodge for over a year now. La Peregrina Lodge is a new hunting concept combining wingshooting and big game at the same location in a 5 star atmosphere with all amenities that the most demanding hunter can ask for.
La Peregrina Lodge is located in south Santiago del Estero province. It borders Cordoba and Santa Fe, a hunting and fishing paradise. Here you can also enjoy horseback riding, bird watching, swimming pool as well as the most spectacular sceneries combined with the typical Argentina food and wines.

   The Lodge: is comprised of 2,000 meters and consists of 6 rooms all with queen size beds, satellite TV, bar, air conditioning, security box and internet; all the rooms are double but are available as singles. La Peregrina has a spacious living room with 2 fireplaces and a bar with first class beverages. In the basement there´s a wine cellar equipped with the finest Argentina´s wines: Cabernet, Malbec, Syrah, Merlot, Tempranillo, etc. You´ll be able to chose the wine you prefer at mealtime and select the brand of fine cigar from the cigar exhibitor.
   The staff will be ready 24/7 to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The lodge offers laundry service. Daily top level menu selections or for special dietary needs you’ll need to inform the lodge in advance. All these services are included in the price with no additional cost.
   Getting There: (3 options) Either by van from Cordoba-4 hours; from Santiago del Estero capital-2 1/2 hours or from Cordoba or Buenos Aires directly to the estancia on charter flights that land on the lodge’s private airstrip.

   PIGEONS: Few places in Argentina offer a pigeon hunt over decoys all year round. The limit is between 200 and 300 hundred pigeons per hunter per day. The fields are between 40 and 70 minutes away from the lodge so we normally stay out and have an asado in the field.
   PARTRIDGES: Hunt partridges over well trained pointers. On an average hunt you can expect 10 or 12 flushes. We recommend this type of hunt for people that enjoy walking. Hunting season goes from May 11th to July 31.
   DUCKS: Hunt ducks over 100,000 hectares of marshland floshed by the Uti river. There you have opportunities for more than 12 different species of ducks. The hunting is only 40 minutes away from lodge. We have motorized aluminum boats as well as plastic and mechanical decoys. Hunting season goes from May 1st to July 31
   DOVES: A hunting paradise all year long, 15 minutes from the lodge you can shoot 1,000 rounds every day. And if you want to see the largest dove population in the world the fields are only 1 hour away.
   BIG GAME: There are 2 zones for big game hunting. a) 1,000 acres of fenced land: Red Stag, Axis Deer, Rams and Bucks; b) 6,000 acres open where you can hunt Wild Boar, Pigs, Buffalo, Brown Brocket and Mountain Lion. In addition we have permits in more than 100,000 acres. Hunting is usually done in waits and posts. We provide: Automatic Shotguns 12 and 20 gauge, over under 20 and 28 gauge, Rifles 300, 264, 243, Waders of different sizes (email your size in advance)

Doves	$600 per day
Pigeons	$700 per day
Ducks and Partridge	$750 per day

plus airfare, gun entry or gun rental,
shells, licenses, tips and personal items

2 days of Ducks and 3 day of Pigeons is the maximum for those 2 species.
Prices are based on single room unless there are not enough rooms to permit single accommodations.
Minimum of 6 hunters to reserve the lodge exclusively. To reserve dates, we require a deposit of $500 per hunter.
