Paraguay Pigeon Hunting Minus the Hassles!
Classic Sports International and top outfitter Paco Riestra are glad to introduce to you a new area for action-packed picazuro pigeon hunts!
Formosa PigeonsFormosa Province is located in the northern part of Argentina bordering on Paraguay. The border is the Paraguay River and the pigeon hunt is very similar to the volume of birds one finds in Paraguay.
The picazuro pigeon
is larger than the spot winged pigeon and on an average pigeon hunt you can expect 200-400 birds per hunter.
The hunts are a maximun of one hour driving time from the hotel, but the regular time is about 20-30 minutes and you can combine with perdiz. Hunters usually harvest between 10-12 perdiz per hunt. Enjoy Paco’s tasty lunch in the fields and after the day’s hunt we return to the hotel for dinner and relax.
Pigeon Season runs April 1st to August 31st
with the best months being April, May and June.
