Known as the Paris of South America, it is a fast paced city laced with exclusive shops, fine restaurants and hotels with many scenic and historic areas that are well worth a visit..
Buenos Aires is a beautiful, cosmopolitan city with a strong European influence. In fact, better than 50 percent of the residents are of European descent. The population of Argentina is roughly 36 million habitants, and most of them live in the Capital and in the Buenos Aires region. The official language is spanish. In the city of Buenos Aires  -el lunfardo- a widespread slang is also spoken.  You´ll need your travel documents: a valid passport and a visa if needed ( check this with your consular authorities). Passengers from not bordering nations with Argentina don´t pay customer tax on personal effects and new products for a value under 300 US dollars.

If this is your first time in South America, we always recommend a day or so of leisure and touring to add to your wing shooting enjoyment.
A Sample Itinerary:

Day One: On your arrival or your return from shooting you will be met at the airport by an English-speaking guide and transferred to The Alvear Palace Hotel, the finest in Buenos Aires, with luxurious interior, gourmet dining and exquisite indoor pool. You would take your guns with you for storage at the hotel; an easy check-in. The world famous Tango show and dinner could be scheduled for that evening.

Day Two: City tour with english speaking guide to include the Plaza de Mayo and the buildings that surround: Casa Rosada ,Government House, Cabildo, Old City Hall, The City Hall, etc. Then on to see the monumental Congress Building and its square and along De Julio Avenue, the widest in the world, the Colon Theatre, the famous Opera House that stages important artists and musicians from all over the world. We will also visit picturesque La Boca district that resembles a typical italian neighborhood, Palermo Park and the historical Recoleta Cemetery, called The City of the Dead, where Eva Peron and other Argentine notables are buried. Some of the tombs are very elaborate and the size of small houses.

Classic Sports International will arrange your Buenos Aires stay through Four Seasons Adventures, a very reliable agency that has successfully handled this package for many years. Our group members can tell you about the Buenos Aires portion and Four Seasons handling.
Cost of a sample Buenos Aires package is approximately $485 per person to include transfers to and from the airport, one night, double accommodations at The Alvear Palace, dinner and tango show and four hours of private city touring, all with English speaking guides. There are other very nice and less expensive hotels which could lower your cost by $75-$150 per person.
