This first class lodge is located on a high bluff overlooking the beautiful Naknek River in the Bristol Bay Basin on the Alaska peninsula, 300 air miles SW of Anchorage. King Salmon Lodge has comfortable private bedrooms with private baths, satellite television, sauna, internet, handcrafted Alaska crafts gift shop, fly tying table and fine personal service. Dining at the lodge is superb with Alaska King Crab Legs, fresh salmon, duck, pheasant, quail, filet mignon, fine wines, fresh baked breads and desserts.

The fishing is phenomenal - A superb location enables us to fish the entire Bristol Bay Watershed, including the Wild Trout Management Area around Lake Iliamna and the prolific waters of Katmai National Park by float plane. Fishing our home water, the world famous Naknek River by jet boat is a daily option.

Acre for acre, nothing in Alaska compares to the majestic beauty of Katmai! A short ten minute flight from the lodge takes you into a land that has been virtually untouched since its creation.
King Salmon Lodge is a short scenic 20 minute flight to Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park. Watch as huge coastal Alaskan Coastal Brown Bears stand atop the falls and grab jumping Salmon right out of the air.

The lodge offers daily flyouts in their Dehavilland Beavers and experienced Alaska bush pilots fly guests to where the fish are. After a delicious breakfast buffet, there is plenty of time to suit up and enjoy a full day of fishing.

Professional guides/instructors are experts in fly and spin cast fishing catering to the complete novice or experienced angler. June and July are great months for fishing King Salmon (Chinook) and Red Salmon (Sockeye). August and September offer spectacular Silver (Coho) fishing

At the home lodge, 6 boats are available for day or evening angling..

Lake troutKulik Lodge is located inside Katmai National Park, one of the most scenic areas in the world and a favorite of sportsmen since 1950.  This area was designated by the Alaska Department of fish and Game and is Alaska's famous wild rainbow trout country. Rainbows trout, char, arctic grayling and pike are abundant throughout the entire season and lake trout are available in during June and into early July. Five species of Pacific Salmon and the world's largest sockeye salmon spawn in the clear waters near Kulik Lodge. So take your vitamins, you wll need all the strength you can muster to land some of these record Alaskan beauties.
